Arc System Works have been doing a great job by adding more features and content to the console version of BlazBlue Continuum Shift. Now we get more news of fresh characters that you’ll be able to download once the game is released.

BRISTOL PRESS RELEASE: Arc System Works and Zen United are pleased to reveal Makoto as a brand new playable character for BlazBlue: Continuum Shift on Xbox 360® and PlayStation® 3. Makoto will be made available for download in Europe for the latest addition to the critically acclaimed fighting series.

“Continuum Shift already offers a huge amount of new content over Calamity Trigger” explains Geraint Evans, Marketing Manager at Zen United. “This first DLC announcement shows our commitment to making BlazBlue an established fighting game series. We hope it makes our dedicated fans happy, as well as giving new players something extra to look forward to!”

Previously a non playable character in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, players will be able to get to grips with Makoto’s hyper-aggressive style of fighting first-hand in Continuum Shift.

Makoto has a predominantly short reach, but boasts a wide variety of tools. Excellent as a close range fighter with impressive speed, her quick attacks make her an excellent choice for players who favour an offensive, rush-down style of combat.

Her special attacks offer considerable damage, feeling satisfying when they connect and her drive attack, ‘Impact’ can be charged to unleash more devastating energy attacks.

Players who download the Makato DLC will also get a Tutorial added to Continuum Shift’s new Tutorial Mode, as well as specific challenges for Challenge Mode. They will also be able to battle against Continuum Shift players who have yet to download her.

As with all Continuum Shift characters, Makato DLC will also contain ‘Unlimited’ character data (an alter-ego with slightly tweaked gameplay and attack effects) as well as additional costume colours and bonus Trophy and Achievement Data.

Makoto DLC will be made available alongside BlazBlue: Continuum Shift’s release in October 2010.

Βεβαια δεν ξερω κατα ποσο ειναι καλο που το ροστερ του blazblue επεκτεινεται τοσο γρηγορα,εννοω για το balance του παιχνιδιου

κατι μου λεει οτι θα ειναι δυνατος rushdown χαραχτηρας

Καλώς μας ήρθες Makoto no.2 !!! Δε μπορώ να ξέρω αν θα είναι balanced ή όχι , αλλά εμένα με ενοχλεί αφάνταστα , να ανακοινώνεται νέος χαρακτήρας για ένα παιχνίδι που κυκλοφορεί τον ΟΚΤΩΒΡΙΟ !!!!! Γιατί να είναι DLC ; Το θεωρώ απατεωνιά . Ας προσπαθήσουν οι εταιρίες να βγάζουν ολοκληρωμένους τίτλους και όχι να μας παρουσιάζουν τα αυτονόητα για υπερπροσφορές .

Πολυ rushdown ειδα, πολυ πρεσσα και ενα κοινο με τον Naruto.Κανει Kage bushin λολ!
Εκ πρωτης οψεως φαινεται γαματη.
Μου φαινεται πως ο Σακης θα κολλησει μαζι της.

Today i was walking down at Shinjuku in Tokyo and my eye show some BBCS music themes in a monitor at the Big Box Blg. So yeah The new DLC characters are pretty much Makoto, Valkenhayn and Trinity.

When i returned at the hotel like 1 hour ago i made a small search and well pretty much here is what i found:


Makoto Nanaya
Character voice: Tomomi Isomura (JP), Janice Kawaye (ENG)
Another classmate of Noel's and Jin's from the Military Academy, much like Tsubaki. She is a squirrel-type half beast-man, and is considerably hyperactive with a short attention span. She is outgoing, adventurous, and has inhuman reflexes. She has a few complexes about her race, but nonetheless, acknowledges who she is and is proud of it. She fights using her specially made cross Tonfas. She is set to in appear in the console version of Continuum Shift as Downloadable content, along with v-13, Valkenhayn Hellsing and Platinum the Trinity. She seems to be working under the NOL's Intelligence Division, but is actually an informant for Sector Seven. Makoto's Drive is named Impact, which unleashes an attack that varies depending on how high a combo a player can create with her.

Valkenhayn Hellsing
Character voice: Motomu Kiyokawa (JP), Doug Stone (ENG)
Valkenhayn one of the Six Heroes and Rachel's elderly butler and trusted adviser who has served the Alucard family line for generations. He possesses a sharp wit and is concerned for Rachel's well-being. Valkenhayn seems to be worried about Rachel associating with things below her class (particularly Ragna, although others might apply), but he always acts in a sophisticated and gentlemanly manner. Judging from comments frequently dropped by Rachel, he seems to have once been a vigilante himself. He seems to know of Terumi well enough to recognize him on sight, even though Terumi can change shape. Valkenhayn is set to appear in Continuum Shift as Downloadable content. Valkenhayn's Drive is not yet known.

Platinum the Trinity
Character voice: Aoi Yuuki (JP)
A young girl with a split-personality. She is the last of the Six Heroes. She is hostile towards Ragna, presumably because he was part of the Black Beast. She is set to appear in Continuum Shift as Downloadable content. Platinum's Drive is not yet known.


Also their themes can be found on youtube so go and listen to them. No playable videos yet. I tried going to Aksys office but well they just dont let anyone who is not an employee to enter there.

Sorry if this news have been posted already but i just show them here in Tokyo and though to just let you know about it. Also sorry for writting this in english but im using a hotel rental pc (everything is in JP) right now and pretty nuch im bored to change to Greek.

Anyway , είχα ακριβώς την αντίθετη ιδέα από 'σένα Σπύρο , δλδ δε μου άρεσε το character design της Platina . Bασικά είπα 'ΤΙΝΑΦΤΟ ΡΕΕΕ' . Mετά βέβαια διάβασα την ιστορία και ψιλογούσταρα. 3 personalities ! Eνα μικρό κορίτσι , ένα αγόρι και ένα από τους 6 heroes , γαμάτη ιδέα.
